“Connecting with people is what gets me up in the morning. Loving them so they can see that God loves them.”

A Greenvillian since the age of five, Stacey attended elementary school through college here in town. He married his high-school sweetheart Vicki, and they established a home in Greenville, where he worked in marketing and then started his own web development company.

In 2006, God gave him the desire to return to school for seminary training and a graduate Bible degree. As a small business owner, he had the time and flexibility and found the seminary training had ignited a passion to study the Word more deeply.

Meanwhile, he, his wife and his kids, Lauren and William, became a part of a local church plant called Grace Baptist Fellowship that had chartered in May of 2008. The church members voted in Stacey as their pastor in April 2009. After graduation from seminary and a trip to The Holy Land, he assumed his pastoral role.

Stacey and Vicki want their lives to be reflections of Jesus and nothing or no one else. More than just a knowledge or awareness of God, a relationship with Christ and getting to know Him more are ultimately the most fulfilling and rewarding pursuits of anyone on this earth. As a church body, Grace Baptist Fellowship under the leadership of Stacey desires to glorify God through compassionate community involvement, prayer and encouragement in each other’s daily Christian walks.

He and his family enjoy coffee, the beach, Taco Casa and soccer. Stacey and Vicki are active in the community. Vicki serves various local boards of non-profits.

Since we believe that children are important to God, our GraceKids ministry provides activities and instruction for ages newborn through 6th grade during the service times.
